Pipe plugs

Städtler+Beck mechanical and pneumatic pipe plugs are used to temporarily block (stop) various types of pipelines.
Mechanical and pneumatic pipe plugs are used to temporarily shut down pipelines during repair, welding, testing, and purging when welding pipes in an inert tube in the range from DN 12 to DN 2200.
They also enable quick and easy leak tests in accordance with DIN EN 1610.
Städtler+Beck mechanical and pneumatic pipe plugs are characterized by high reliability and corrosion resistance.

ARE AVAILABLE IN VARIOUS DESIGNS

Mechanically or pneumatically operated
Designed for medium, high pressure (in special versions) or non-pressure applications
With and without bore for pumping the process medium
With rubber seals for aggressive media (chemically resistant composition)
With one or more seals
With various tightening screws
With all commercially available connections
With and without base plate

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION

Städtler+Beck pipe plugs are installed in a pipeline of the required diameter, and when the threaded rod (handle) is screwed in or when compressed air is applied (in the case of pneumatic end caps), the sealing rings expand, sealing the pipeline axially.
