Bitumen Tape GW

The Kebu Bitumen-Tape GW is a hot applied corrosion protection tape that meets DIN EN 12068 and DIN 30672 and is made of modified bitumen with a high softening and low breaking point. The carrier made of pre-impregnated glass fibre fabric (about 120 g/m2) makes the tape highly elastic. It meets the requirements of load class B, according to DIN EN 12068, at a continuous operating temperature of up to 30°C.

AREA OF APPLICATION

The Kebu Bitumen-Tape GW is suitable for coating factory coated pipes and fitings the coating of which is listed in DIN 30672-2, table 2 or for coating steel pipelines, fittings and for the repair of mechanical damages to the factory coating.
