The construction of an oil pipeline from Uganda to Tanzania

On September 13, an agreement was signed to build an oil pipeline from Uganda to Tanzania. This pipeline will connect Ugandan fields and the Tanzanian port of Tanga. Uganda discovered oil reserves on its territory in 2006.
The preliminary cost of the pipeline construction is $ 3.5bn.
