Thermoplastic, elastic, pressure sensitive sealant, for melt processing. Sealant DK-P1M22 is designed for processing with a extruder. The material under the influence of fire and temperatures above 180°C swells and protects the sealed joint from the spread of flame. The material is self-extinguishing.
Fully amalgamating. Resistant to short term high temperature exposure. Is resistant to atmospheric conditions and aging.
Sealant DK-P1M22 has a wide range of applications, for example, in sealing cable harness joints. Thanks to excellent tackiness, it finds application in the production of various adhesive tapes of aluminum, foil, PE, non-woven fabric, in lap joints, PE film joints, contact corrosion protection between different metals and building surface connections.
