Bitumen Primer DK-BIT^®TERMO

Solvent-based bituminous polymer primer.

Composition

The primer is a homogeneous black liquid composition consisting of bitumen-polymer resin, elastomers, corrosion inhibitors, stabilizers, mixed with the appropriate type of solvent.

Ideal for all tapes and corrosion protection systems DK-BIT^®. Increases the thermal resistance of the anti-corrosion system. Excellent resistance to cathodic peeling. Dries quickly and is easy to apply.
Compatible with factory coatings made of PE and bitumen.

Area of application

Bitumen Primer DK-BIT^®TERMO - apply as a primer to the metal surface and the adjacent factory insulation before applying all DK-BIT^®. tapes and corrosion protection systems. It is used in almost all climatic conditions and in various temperature conditions around the world.
Bitumen Primer DK-BIT^®TERMO - suitable for both machine and manual application. It can be applied with a brush or a paint roller. It provides excellent adhesion of the tapes to the pipe surface. Can also be used for temporary protection of sandblasted surfaces against rust.
